Grumpy Baby is a great little spot near the GEC that serves good American style food. We were there for late breakfast/early lunch so the family split what we ordered. I had the Bigger Breakfast and had eggs prepared to perfection, good potatoes, buttered toast and bacon. My wife had a tasty Clubhouse sandwich which was just about what you'd expect to get in a club sandwich. Our son had the Blueberry Pancakes which came sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar, much to his enjoyment. Our daughter had a cheeseburger that, although not huge, was enjoyable. It will never be compared to the best burgers in the GEC, but it's respectable. Throw in some hot tea, a bottomless coffee, and two very generous hotel chocolates and it was a nice meal for the price. We also got their Philly Cheese Steak for an additional nibble/takeaway for the next day's lunch. That one actually has some spice to it. It's not Korean hot, but it's pleasantly warm. The only real drawback toy Grumpy Baby is that it's a small restaurant. Very little parking and only a handful of indoor tables. But I'm not docking anything for that. The food is why you go anyway. Add to that that the staff are friendly and accommodating and it's worth the visit. It's a good place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Give it a go.
