Went for a quick lunch & ordered the Chiuchow style brine-sauced goose & cuttlefish, which tasted very blank. Not cheap, but dining environment was quite comfortable. Service charge of 10% though it’s more like a fast food restaurant. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$50–100 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Disappointing Experience at [Gu Liang Cai 久両菜] – Avoid at All Costs. I visited [Gu Liang Cai 久両菜] for lunch today, marking my first and undoubtedly last visit to this establishment. The experience was profoundly disappointing, characterized by overpriced food, substandard quality, and shockingly poor service. The menu prices are exorbitant, far exceeding the value provided. The dishes arrived cold, lackluster, and utterly uninspired, failing to justify their cost. The food lacked flavor and creativity, making the meal an exercise in disappointment rather than enjoyment. The service, however, was the most egregious aspect of this visit. When I requested napkins, the waiter returned and interrupted my conversation in a manner that was both intrusive and rude. Handing me the napkins, he repeatedly said, “Hello, hello,” as if impatient for me to take them. This level of discourtesy was astonishing and completely unacceptable for a professional setting. To add insult to injury, the bill included a service charge, which felt like a mockery given the abysmal service provided. The staff offered no acknowledgment or gratitude after payment, further highlighting their lack of professionalism. In summary, [Gu Liang Cai 久両菜] offers an overpriced, underwhelming dining experience with service that borders on disrespectful. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this establishment. I will not return, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $150–200
