アイスクリームで有名なお店だがお茶のクオリティが大変高い。このお店で知覧茶をよく購入している。 2026年ごろからお茶の中に茶葉ではなく粉みたいな物が半分くらいを占めるようになりました。もう二度とここでお茶を買いません。星を5つから3つに変更します。

雪萌えパフェが気になり、初訪問。 店内入るとすぐに、色々なお茶の香りがふんわり漂っています。 さっぱりとしたソフトクリームで、濃厚な抹茶の苦味と甘み、ひかえめな小豆の甘さも パフのサクサク感も どこをとっても美味しかった。 通常のソフトクリームよりもずっと早く、すぐに溶けて垂れてきてしまうので、スピード勝負。 身体が冷えるから。と 温かいお茶までご馳走になり、素敵なひとときを過ごせました。

Visiting 玉翠園 本店｜㈱玉木商店 (Gyokusuien Main Store / Tamaki Shoten) in Sapporo during our summer Hokkaido road trip was a wonderfully authentic, soul-soothing cultural gem for tea and dessert lovers alike. Located just a short stroll from the Nijo Market and Soseigawa Park areas, finding nearby parking for our rental car made pulling up to this historic Japanese tea shop smooth and convenient. Established in 1933, this traditional tea specialty shop exudes a warm, welcoming, and nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by the rich, soothing aroma of freshly roasted green tea leaves and rows of traditional tea canisters, curated with generations of tea-master expertise. The standout star that brings travelers here is Gyokusuien’s legendary Yukidaruma Green Tea Parfait (Yuki Daruma Parfait): * Masterful Flavor Harmony: A beautifully layered dessert featuring intensely rich, aromatic Uji matcha soft-serve, velvety house-made green tea jelly, sweet Hokkaido red beans (azuki), and a crisp, handcrafted rice-wafer snowman perched on top. * Warm Tea Pairing: Every parfait is served alongside a complimentary cup of expertly brewed, piping-hot seasonal Japanese green tea (sencha or hojicha), with the shop's tea masters sharing warm smiles and hospitality. * Authentic Tea Souvenirs: We loved browsing the extensive selection of premium loose-leaf green teas, roasted hojicha, and seasonal matcha powders to take home as gifts.
