Very average in all honesty.. if you have ever been to Kyoto 步兵. you will find this one pretty disappointing .. dumpling skin not thin enough. the filling is very bland . besides they provide 紙盒道地烏龍茶 . extremely disappointing . Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Gyoza And is one of those small, focused spots that specialises almost entirely in gyoza. I like places that commit to doing one thing properly, and overall, I enjoyed the experience here. We tried a few different fillings, and honestly, all the gyozas were good. Nicely pan-fried, crisp bottom, juicy inside, and each filling had its own character. It didn’t feel repetitive, which can sometimes happen when you’re just ordering dumplings back-to-back. Simple concept, but executed well. The only thing that didn’t quite sit right with me was the chicken liver portion. For the price point, it felt too small. Flavour was fine, but when you’re paying that much, you expect a bit more substance. The shop itself is tiny. Seating is limited, and you’re definitely sitting quite close to others. But that’s part of the charm of Central dining. Service was decent. Orders taken efficiently, food came out without too much delay. Not overly warm, but not unpleasant either. I do think they could do more in terms of guiding diners through the menu. A little more introduction to what’s popular, what’s unique, or how best to pair things would elevate the experience. Right now, it feels slightly transactional. Overall, Gyoza And is a solid stop if you’re craving gyoza in Central. Good variety, good execution, just room for a bit more personality and value balance.
