Gyukatsu Ichinisan (牛かつ壱弐参) – Worth the wait, no question After a disappointing experience at a Ginza “tourist trap,” this place was a complete turnaround. Yes, be ready to wait — we queued for almost an hour — but the service was top notch from start to finish. The staff were organized, efficient, and attentive, which already sets a good tone even before the food arrives. Their star is the beef cutlet (gyukatsu), and it definitely delivers. The quality, taste, and overall experience make it clear why this place is so popular. That said, the serving we had yesterday was a bit on the oily side, enough that we had to use tissue to manage it. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting. Overall, despite that small issue, the food was absolutely worth the wait. It’s a solid reminder that not all long lines are hype—some are genuinely earned. Verdict:. Great service. Quality food.
