I have been to Gyushige twice. Its not that crowded compared to other restaurants in Kornhill Plaza. First time I was able to walk in and the second time I only needed to wait about five minutes to get a seat. The seating area has both sofa seats and high chair seating area. Also, there is one big table area for a big family to sit together as well. The menu as can be seen attached is very extensive. Its similar feeling to a low cost carrier. As you strip out everything. You can just choose the bare minimum if you want. Or you have a choice of adding on extras as you please depending on your budget. For me I went into Yakiniku Set For One Person and chose the A3 Karubi Short Plate & Pork Belly Set (HKD 58). Both times with the addition of HKD 58 I chose the 300 grams. Its actually a lot. Next time I will go for the 200 grams at extra HKD 30. After you choose that you choose the side dish and type of rice or salad you want. At additional cost you can add on extra side dishes and choose your drink. 300 grams Karubi Short Plate & Pork Belly Set was an extensive portion. Beef and pork provided tasted great. There is one manager and two staff working. All three of them are worked hard to provide good service. You may need to ask the staff for the scissors to cut the beef and pork. Or you can ask them to change the iron griddle plate. Compared to other Yakiniku restaurants I have been this place provides extensive options as can be seen in the menu. Also, it allows people to choose the bare minimum or add on depending on the budget. Food tasted great and portion was good. Service provided was good too. Overall, a five rating as this place provides value. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $150–200
