Probably the best experience i have had with a cafe! Good quality coffee pairs with a highly skilled and knowledgable barista, wonderful! The owner is so passionate with his coffee that we had a brief coffee class with him about the local cultivars in Thailand. If you love coffee, this is a must visit in Chiang Rai. The owners mom also makes lovely traditional thai desserts! We tried a few and absolutely love them. Not too sweet and you can taste the actual ingredients used. Definitely a huge bonus point for a cafe. There are also local resident cats, so cute! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Mr Tam gives the most omakase style service and recommendations we've had. I learned new things about coffee especially history of coffee in Thailand. When in HJ, we thoroughly appreciate your skills and passion through both your hot and iced coffee, the care put into it was impressive! Hot coffee that you can appreciate the thought and technique put into it, that you can take a sip immediately because the brilliant temperature control and enjoy the maximum flavour in every cup. Iced coffee that is not diluted. Auntie makes nice khanom too. Thank you for your kindness and patience. I hope all goes well with your work and life, stay healthy, and will visit you when we come to chiang rai again. Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
