If you feel hungry after visiting Shrine of the Goddess Tubtim, have a meal at this restaurant. Cantonese and Chinese cuisines are to the pleasure of all guests here. The chef at Hong Bao cooks tasty Dim sum, Peking duck and pork.
It's a pity, the staff is terrific as a number of visitors mention. Service at this place is something one can call enjoyable.

Don't get the 'pan fried' pork and scallion dumpling/potsticker. It's actually completely deep fried

Extremely Poor Service...........Choose an alternative for fine dining Dinner on 25th July 2018 at approximately 7.30........ This was the second time I have had a formal dinner at Hong Bao and once again the service was disgraceful to say the very least. Firstly the waiter could not understand English. For a tourist destination, and although predominately Thai & Chinese patrons, maybe they should think carefully when hiring staff. Our meals came and was quite good so no complaints there. However, the staff did not attend to refill tea and had to be requested at several times with hand gestures to senior staff/supervisors. For a 4 star restaurant this is not acceptable. When our meals were finished our table remained uncleared for a substantial time. Again.......Un acceptable for an expensive restaurant such as this one ! Would i go there again................DEFINATELY NOT !
