Hot-Star is a Taiwanese fried chicken specialist with take-away branches scattered around the city including this place at the Kai Tin Shopping Centre in Kwun Tung. They have a handful of fried chicken and other orders but the #1 Large Fried Chicken ($HK35) is really good. You can order normal or spicy, what is served is large enough for two to share. Served piping hot, give them a minute to cool down and bite gently near the bottom as the chicken is actually served on the bone. This is low-cost, tasty street food that is worth trying if you come across a Hot Star branch and fancy trying fried chicken the way they do it in Taiwan.
