A Hidden Gem of Culinary Creativity! We were initially drawn in by the incredible $1 oyster promotion right next to Jalan Besar Stadium, but we stayed for what turned out to be an extraordinary Thai fusion experience. The menu is full of "pleasant surprises." The Egg in Egg in Egg in Egg was a feast to the eye & masterclass in texture, and "Not a Tom Yum" completely redefines the classic flavors we didn’t expected. We finished with the Durian puffs, which was the perfect real deal to wrap a lovely dinner among the 12 dishes ordered. A huge shoutout to Lok Yee and the team. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely hospitable, making the experience feel personal. We enjoyed it so much that we returned this weekend for a Mother’s Day family dinner, ordering à la carte based on the Chef’s Table menu. Think cosy elegance for the interior with floral touches, cool design elements and lighting so good even your food starts to glow. We feasted on Garli-licious prawns — rich, buttery, with a garlicky sauce that is simply addictive. The Claw some rice is fragrant and crabby in the best way, with pops of tobiko! The Thai Spices Chicky is crispy, tasty and gone in seconds. The Three Little Pig is a crispy pork belly with herby coriander flavour. And that melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu makes you say goodbye to self-control. And dont forget to indulge in their refreshing and beautiful drinks! Red Hurricane, Butterfly Effect and Thai Milky Way. Perfect pairing with the delicious dishes. Hue isn’t just a meal it’s a whole vibe that you need to enjoy with your friends and family. Had an enjoyable meal at Hue Restaurant. We ordered the Tom Yum, Angus Ribeye (medium rare), Tang Hoon claypot with tiger prawn and bacon, and Mango Sago for dessert. The Tom Yum was flavourful with a good balance of sour and spicy. The Angus ribeye was cooked nicely to medium rare — just a tad fatty for our liking. The tang hoon claypot was comforting and fragrant with generous portions, though the tiger prawn could be fresher to elevate the dish further. Dessert ended on a refreshing note with the mango sago. Overall, an enjoyable dining experience, though the price was slightly higher than expected. Would return to try other dishes.
