Truly and undisputedly the best restaurant in Phuket. And halal too! Home of the best unmissable Beef Massaman curry - rich, flavourful, decadent beef curry that puts the others in the area to complete shame. The best fried rice - all of them: shrimp, chicken, beef and especially crab! The best papaya salad: sweet, sour and savoury authentic Thai with peanuts and shrimp shells. Fresh vegetables The best value and flavour for money imaginable, you can eat well for 100 baht and eat decadently for 300 baht (if you get the luxurious beef massaman). Amazing smoothies and the best cha yen I’ve had thus far, 50-70 baht. Amazing service too, they speak good English and are super helpful and will remember you after a few visits. Tao is lovely and friendly! I’m not joking I’d genuinely fly 16 hours just to eat here and will do so again. I was often asking myself how can it be so good then I saw the chief of operations overlooking the kitchen and I knew this place is SERIOUS (see pictures). Halal Noodle Soup and Thai Food Restaurant is hands down the most authentic and affordable Thai food spot on the south side of Phuket! Every dish is bursting with flavor, and the quality is unbeatable for the price. It became our go-to dinner spot during our stay in Phuket, and we couldn’t get enough of the delicious variety. Highly recommend for anyone looking for genuine Thai cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
