We wanted to try a local dining spot where the residents hang out, and we stumbled upon Halal Oasis. The first thing I noticed was the lovely tree that serves as the eatery’s logo and trademark — a nice touch that adds charm to the place. It’s an open-concept roadside eatery rather than a typical restaurant, so naturally, it attracts mosquitoes. With limited fans, it can also get quite hot. Unfortunately, the waiting time for food was very long — we eventually had to cancel two of our orders that never arrived. As much as I want to support a halal establishment, I wouldn’t come back here if I were in Hatyai again. Hopefully, the management can improve service speed and comfort because the concept has potential. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
