Whether you’re arriving by bus or staying at nearby hotels like Lee Garden or Centara, this restaurant is an ideal stop for a satisfying and familiar halal meal. Location & Atmosphere The restaurant is easy to locate, situated right at the center of Hat Yai along Prachathipat Road, where many public transport routes converge. It's spacious, clean, and well-lit, making it comfortable for both casual meals and group dining with family or friends. Although the parking space is limited, the accessibility and central location make up for it. Food & Flavours Hamid Restaurant is especially popular among Malaysian tourists — many of whom feel right at home here, as ordering in Bahasa Melayu is common and well understood by the staff. The menu is extensive, offering a wide range of halal Thai and local dishes: from tom yam, ikan tiga rasa, and petai sambal prawns, to daging bakar and various fried rice options.
