I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hammer Place, and it was such a delightful experience! This charming little spot is not just another café; it's a place with a real personality and a playful touch that I loved. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and rustic decor that makes you feel right at home. The wooden tables and the sweet background details create a truly relaxing atmosphere. But let's talk about the stars of the show: the treats! I ordered a crème brûlée, an Oreo cheesecake, and a refreshing lemon soda, and I was blown away by both the presentation and the taste. Everything was served beautifully on a wooden tray, making it feel extra special. The crème brûlée was absolutely exquisite – perfectly creamy and rich, with that satisfying crack when you break through the caramelised top. Speaking of cracking, the absolute highlight of the experience was the tiny hammer provided to crack your own crème brûlée! It’s such a clever and fun detail that adds a whole new level of enjoyment to your meal. It's these unique touches that make Hammer Place truly stand out. The Oreo cheesecake was also fantastic – a perfect blend of creamy, chocolatey goodness that wasn't overly sweet. And the lemon soda was the ideal accompaniment, refreshing and full of zesty flavour. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. I can't recommend Hammer Place enough for anyone looking for unique sweets, good coffee, and a bit of playful fun. I'll definitely be back to "crack" into another crème brûlée!
