The restaurant is operated by a Korean female chef known for her exceptional generosity. I moved to Hong Kong from Korea two years ago, and I am so sad that I only discovered this restaurant now. She provided us with unlimited banchan for free, which are the small side dishes that Koreans typically have with their main meals. (As you may know, in Hong Kong, these usually come at an additional cost.) All the banchans tasted like my mom’s cooking; I felt as if I were back home. She also gave us lots of kimchi. If you are a big fan of kimchi, please visit here. She also offers unlimited Korean BBQ (All You Can Eat Samgyeopsal, it costs only 108 HKD bro), allowing you to eat as much as you like. You will definitely enjoy this restaurant if you are a fan of Korean food! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best Korean food ever! We tried the meet, marinated pork and spicy pork and it was delicious. They serve with some entrees that are so good. The owner it’s very friendly and she cooked the meet for us in our table. We love it. Highly recommended Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$150–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have been to many Korean restaurants in Korea, LA, NYC, DC area and in Europe. We tried japchae, galbi, unmarinated bbq beef, steamed egg, yukgaejang, and they all were really good. They reminded me of my mom’s home cook meal. If you want to try an authentic Korean food, Hancook restaurant is the place.
