I am extremely disappointed with the food quality at Hans Lentor Modern during my recent visit. My son ordered the beef burger, but unfortunately the bottom bun was extremely hard, almost like a rock, making it unpleasant to eat. I ordered the fish and chips, which is usually known as one of Hans signature dishes. However, the fish appeared to have been over-fried, resulting in the coating being overly dark, hard, and difficult to enjoy. Honestly, this was one of the worst fish and chips experiences I have had. I personally feel that even western food sold at coffee shops or hawker centres offers better quality and value. I raised the issue with the assistant manager on duty, and she mentioned that they had recently changed the bread supplier and would need to check the batch. While I appreciate the explanation, it did not change the fact that the overall dining experience was very disappointing and not worth the money spent. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Hans outlet at Lentor Modern. I have visited other Hans outlets such as Springleaf and Thomson Plaza previously, and the food quality there was noticeably better. I hope the management will look into the food preparation and quality control standards at the Lentor Modern outlet to prevent similar experiences for other customers. Food: 1

The atmosphere and setting is definitely nicer and more plush than others. Surprised why there isn’t more people dining here as the food is as good as the other Hans outlet. Staff were also extra helpful and polite. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Han's Union ( ️ newly opened). Lentor Modern mall 1 Lentor Central, #01-05. Singapore 788887 Location = Alight at Lentor MRT station and take Exit 1 to the mall. Han's Union cafe is located inside the mall. Decor= The interior decor of this Han's cafe is modern and casual ---- featuring a mix of light wood-toned furniture, biege coloured flooring, and a vibrant red, curved ceiling accent. ️ A large, backlit scenic mural lines one wall, and the overall lighting is bright & contemporary. Food / Takeaway **********************. Hainanese Pork Chop with Rice / SGD14.50. _____________________________________________. The breaded pork chop ( katsu) is sliced into bite-sized pieces, crispy on the outside & tender inside. It is served with rice and the accompanying sauce is a nostalgic sweet-sour tomato-based sauce, cooked with capsicum, onions, pineapple and a few potato wedges. ️ A comforting, old-school Western-style local dish that feels hearty and delicious. Chicken Mayonnaise / Sandwich SGD4 ___________________________________________. This roti sandwich is one of my personal favourites from Han's Union. Shredded chicken is lightly mixed with lettuce and creamy mayonnaise to create a simple & classic filling. Nothing fancy — just soft white bread & homely flavours that never go wrong. Service = The service standards here were normal as usual, just like any other Han's cafe. The staff takes your orders and my takeaways were prepared swiftly. 25th Feb 2026, Wed/ CNY 9th day.
