4/5 Stars! HarriAnns Nonya Table (Suntec City): A Solid Nyonya Choice in Suntec Donkey and I recently visited HarriAnns Nonya Table at their Suntec City location around lunchtime. We were curious to see what made this place so popular, as it always seems to have a good crowd. After our baking class today, Donkey and I decided to stop by this restaurant. We've walked past HarriAnns a few times, and it's always bustling, with a steady stream of customers for both dine-in and takeaway. I mentioned that this restaurant is quite well-known, so we were eager to give it a try. When we arrived, there was a short queue, which moved quickly. It seemed like many people were grabbing their Nyonya Kueh and Pandan Cake for takeaway, a testament to their popularity. Donkey was curious about what to order, so he quickly browsed some Google reviews for suggestions. Based on the recommendations, we decided to try their popular Laksa and a selection of their Kueh. We ordered a Nonya Laksa Noodles Set ($11.50), Di Lok, Glutinous Rice Set ($6.50), Grandma Yam Cake ($4.80), Traditional Kopi-0 and Traditional Teh-C (0.20 SGD). The subtotal came to $23.00. Also, it's worth noting that you can get an additional 10% discount if you pay through the Grab app, a nice perk! The Laksa was satisfying, with a rich and flavorful broth. The Glutinous Rice was a unique and enjoyable experience, with a delightful mix of savory and sweet flavors. The Kueh were a nice treat, and the coffee and tea were a perfect complement to our meal. There was a minor mix-up when I ordered the Yam Cake, as another customer mistakenly took it. However, the staff quickly rectified the situation and replaced it promptly, showing their attentiveness. The service was efficient and friendly. The prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, offering good value. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. While Donkey initially expected the dining area to be grand, its simplicity provided the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our lunch. Overall, HarriAnns Nonya Table is a solid choice for a Nyonya meal in Suntec. While it might not be the absolute best Nyonya food we've ever had, it's a reliable and enjoyable option.
