Super cute concept and a surprisingly sophisticated set of pourovers! A bit dimly lit, but kind of a cute space for a friend hangout or date. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10

Very pleasantly surprised by the Beef Bolognese pasta - the meat sauce is flavourful and clings onto every strand of noodle. Bolognese isn't usually my go-to, but I have to say that it really is one of the better ones. The Beef Stew is where it is at. The buttery, soft mashed potatoes with the fragrant, meaty stew is such a great combination. Very hearty and tasty! The carbs were supposed to be rice, so we were initially a bit bummed when we were told that they were out, but the substitution worked so good. I don't think their selling point is fancy dishes, but if you are looking for simple dishes done well and right, consider visiting Hearthhart Inn. My party only got the two dishes and iced coffee (which were also really nice), but I feel that executing 2 supposedly common dishes so well is a testament to their craft. As of 23 Dec, they are in the midst of revamping their menu so some dishes may not be available, but I was told that it should be up and running within the next week or so.
