Heavenly Burger really lives up to the name! I was staying at my hotel in Namba and they were literally a 30 second walk away. Decided to give them a try during the second week of my trip and my first mistake was not going sooner. I started off with a burger combo and the chef was nice enough to make my fries crispy (anyone who’s ordered in Japan knows the struggle of simple food customization requests) without a second thought! The burger arrived quickly and the fries were perfectly salted with a nice hint of beef tallow. Now for the burger it was, for lack of better words, life changing. I’m from Los Angeles and have had many a burger; I didn’t think I’d have the best American burger of my life in Japan but here I am! The bun was crispy, yet soft and decadent, the meat was perfectly seasoned, no bite had gristle or poor quality beef, and the thousand island dressing with onion was to die for. Literally the best burger I’ve eaten. Ever. As I was finishing my beer, the chef came out with a serving of chicken tenders and we had a nice conversation. They told us they were trying to bring Raising Canes and In-n-Out to Osaka and BOY DID THEY SUCCEED. The chicken tenders were AMAZING. Honestly topped anything Cane’s would put out, sauce was better too. The cherry on top is their IPA selection. Whenever I come to Japan I always crave an IPA once or twice but no one ever has any, and if they do they suck. I had a wonderful Hazy from Harland Brewing and it was cheaper than what you would’ve paid at a bar in Los Angeles. They’re doing something right over here. Definitely come here if you’re craving a taste of home. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
