1 star is too many. Avoid picking up a transfer from Krabi ferry port unless already pre-organised. Was approached by tour guide on ferry from Koh Phi Phi to Krabi saying he could organise us a direct AC minivan to Khao Sok from the ferry port for 500 baht each. We were shuttled off the ferry into different groups depending on where we were going, we were then handed over to a driver who had a very nice AC minivan, and was very polite. We drove for 10 minutes before being told to leave the van and wait in this restaurent for our next minivan to arrive. Was initially told had to wait 30 mins, then 1 hour, and then 90 mins, at this point we asked for our money back and would just get a taxi. They then got very angry with us telling us there was no way for them to communicate with the van coming to get us and they couldn’t tell us when it was coming. He refused to refund us and we ended up booking a taxi which we should have done in the beginning. Waste of 1000 baht and 2 hours of what was already going to be a long travel day. Service: 1

Super rude staff, but that shouldn't surprise anyone since we are in Thailand. They brought me noodle soup instead of the fried noodle I ordered, then tried to convince me to eat it in 100 degree weather. No way. Finally brought me the right dish, it was well below average, heavy on the vinegar and low on everything else. I only came here to catch a van to Khao Sok, and would not recommend coming here for any other reason.Update on the transport: I was told there would be 2 stops to Khao Sok. The driver stopped 18 times to pick up random locals, including his girlfriend's who he reserved the front row for. They played loud thai dance music the entire time. Once he dropped them off, he video chatted with one of them the entire time while driving on treacherous roads like a lunatic. Never again.
