I recently visited Hen in Apgujeong (청담동/압구정 area), and it was perfect. This spot specializes in 숯불 닭구이 (charcoal-grilled chicken), and they absolutely nail it. The chicken meat was incredibly fresh and juicy – you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. It was grilled to perfection, with that perfect smoky char on the outside while staying tender and moist inside. No dryness here! I also had my favourite, chicken heart. The dipping sauces was a game-changer – they perfectly complemented the chicken. My favourite was the chimichurri. To take it to the next level, we paired it with Hwayo liquor (the premium Korean soju). The smooth, clean finish of the Hwayo cut through the richness of the grilled chicken beautifully, creating an amazing harmony of flavors. It felt like a match made in heaven – highly recommend trying this combo! The service was outstanding – attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel special. The vibe is cozy and modern, perfect for a casual yet elevated dinner. If you’re in the Apgujeong area and craving top-notch grilled chicken, Hen is a definite must-try! Highly recommended. AMAZING, we were looking for a chicken place while walking to K-pop street and stumbled in this gem. Had the 3 people set, which ended up being an amazing experience! Every little dish is made with attention to detail. They are very welcoming and kind, speak good English aswel. Massive recommendation if you are walking from Coex mall to K-pop street! Definitely for the price! Meal in the picture was 56k (12eur pp). WOW! Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
