23/5/26, always see a Q, today decide to order the $5/- laksa, quite a big bowl of mee Hoon, with prawn tofu and fish cake. The laksa is very good. Recommend. Tried the $4 laksa at Heng Heng Cooked Food and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The laksa gravy was rich, milky, and fragrant, with a nice balance of spice and coconut flavour that made every spoonful enjoyable. For $4, the portion was quite generous and came with a good amount of ingredients, making it really value for money. The stall owner was also very warm and friendly, patiently serving customers with a smile, which added to the comforting old-school hawker experience. Tried the laksa and prawn noodles at Heng Heng Cooked Food. The laksa tasted pretty average and felt like a normal bowl you can get elsewhere. The prawn noodles were okay but leaned more towards the lighter side in terms of flavour. Overall, quite mid and honestly a little disappointing considering it was featured in the Michelin Guide Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Laksa Medium, Prawn Noodle Soup
