Expérience décevante. Rien n'allait. 2 serveurs qui ne parlaient pas un mot d'anglais. 4 crevettes pour 150 bahts. Un pad thai au lieu d'un curry rouge commandé. 30 min d'attente pour recevoir 2 boissons... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner

Five Stars! Hidden BBQ is truly a hidden gem tucked along the canal near Ao Phrao Beach. The setting is relaxed and scenic, with such a wonderful local vibe - it feels like you’ve stumbled upon a special little secret. Our host, “New Year” prepared an incredible spread of fresh vegetables including enoki and shimeji mushrooms, vermicelli, kale, morning glory, cabbage, and carrots, along with generous platters of prawns, squid, thinly sliced pork belly, and pork loin. A freshly cracked egg yolk was served with the meat platter for dipping - such a rich and delicious touch. There were even adorable fish balls shaped like little fish and flavorful squid rolls that made the experience feel extra special. As a bonus, another whole egg was provided to crack into the soup, which made the broth even more comforting and flavorful. The standout for me was the homemade dipping sauces - a zesty green sauce for the seafood and a bold red chilli sauce for the meats. Absolutely delicious and the perfect complement to everything sizzling on the grill. A huge thank you to New Year’s - she’s so sweet and smiley, and she makes you feel right at home. This was our third visit in just two weeks because her hospitality makes every meal feel special. Everything was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. If you’re anywhere near Ao Phrao, don’t miss this spot. Highly recommend! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
