There’s something comforting about walking into Parkway Parade and catching sight of Hjh Maimunah Mini. It’s one of those stalls that always has a queue, and for good reason. I finally gave in to temptation today and got myself a plate of Nasi Padang. The beef rendang was rich and tender, coated in that deep, flavourful gravy that clings to the rice just right. The sambal? Let’s just say it came with a fiery personality—bold, unapologetic, and guaranteed to wake you up better than coffee. Add in some vegetables, a fried egg, and a generous splash of curry, and suddenly you’ve got a plate that’s less “mini” and more “mega.” Oh, did I mention a balanced meal? Sometimes all you need is a plate of Nasi Padang to remind you that happiness comes in the form of rice, spice, and everything nice.
