The deer was great, and Tsingtao beer pairs well. Highly recommend the stir fried dishes here. Thai-Chinese institution, and the last of the Banthat Thong stalwarts.

Chanced upon this shop as it was just opposite the place where we had our lunch. Decided to drop by to try the braised goose. Ordered all small sizes. Additional orders were placed for goose intestines and blood. The staff recommended other popular items and that's how we ended up with oyster omelette and fried radish cake (4+1 smaller piece). For drinks, we had unsweetened chrysanthemum and luo han guo (slight sweetness) which came in pots, depending on the pax. One small pot gives around 2.5 glasses. The fried radish cake was flavourful with crisp edges. Oyster omelette had an incredible amount of oysters for a small. Intestines came in abundance. Thank you to the staff who took the orders efficiently and came by at strategic intervals to help pour us our drinks. For payment, cash only.
