I went to Home Ground BKK on a very last-minute booking with my partner and it turned into one of those meals that just really stays with you. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming and the food was the real standout. The crab and brioche starter worked so well, really fresh crab with yuzu and aioli, and the crisp bread just pulled it all together. It was a really well thought-out dish. The chef coming over to take our order and explain how he confits the duck was a really nice touch, and both the duck and the wagyu hanger steak with chimichurri and red wine sauce were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The pink power cocktail was sweet, delicious and beautifully presented, and the panna cotta was the perfect way to finish. Such a nice evening and we'd definitely go back.
