This was honestly a very bad dining experience. I didn’t enjoy the food at all. The burger was bad and absolutely not worth the price. Most of the finger food was either tasteless or barely edible, and some dishes were so unpleasant that I literally had to spit them out into my napkin. For $300, this was extremely disappointing. At this price level, you expect outstanding food, quality, and an experience to remember. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about it. Bangkok is one of the best food cities in the world, with so many incredible places to eat. Don’t waste $300 here. I genuinely regret coming to this place. Very bad food, extremely overpriced, and absolutely not worth it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Brunch

I was lucky to have secured a seat at short notice simply because I was a single diner. Reservation is done via IG and payment is mad via interbank transfer. Having heard so much about how difficult it was to find the location even for locals, I set out an hour before my 8pm sitting from my hotel at the Siam area. Getting from BTS station to station was easy enough. Chef Taiki had sent a video of getting to the entrance of the building in which Homeburg is in, but negotiating the darkly lit back alleys is a different proposition. I gotta say that Google Map got me close enough to the building, along with an elderly local who called out to me “inside, inside!”, referring to the correct alley. Look out for the door (in picture below) that will reveal the stairs that will lead you up to Homeburg on the third floor. As it’s an old building, the steps are steep as well as high, so it’s a workout for the meal to come. Doors only open 15min before the sitting. There are two toilets outside the premise. Overall, it was a fun gastronomical experience, with some wonderful and playful surprises. Some people may find it heavy, and indeed I was ready to throw in the towel when dessert came. Great job by chef and his team. PS: Chef had expressed that he’ll be taking a year long sabbatical next year, so if you’re keen, start looking for available seats to book.
