A Hidden Matcha Gem in Samut Prakan – Perfect for a Rainy Day Catch-up Today afternoon, just before heading off to vote, I treated myself to a quiet little moment at Home Café, tucked away inside M Market, right before the Samut Prakan electricity office intersection, at the very end of Srinagarindra Road. It was raining softly – you know, that kind of peaceful drizzle that makes you want to slow down. And honestly, this café turned out to be just the right place for it. I ordered their matcha latte, and it was genuinely lovely – smooth, not too sweet, with that earthy aroma only good matcha gives. I also tried their brownie, which leaned a bit on the sweeter side for me, but it would be perfect for someone with a sweet tooth. The air conditioning was refreshingly cool (a huge plus for us, the hottest widows, who just want to escape the heat for a bit !), and the entire place was clean and cozy. What really made it special for me, though, was the view – a clear, calming glimpse of the little canal outside with black-spotted tilapia swimming lazily by. There was something so relaxing about sipping warm matcha while watching the rain ripple across the water. If you’re free one rainy afternoon, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. It’s quiet, comforting, and has just enough charm to make you want to linger. Let's go together sometime – we deserve little escapes like this.
