上海/北方口味，可以一試，但味道頗濃。食左担担麵，爆炒牛肉、餃子。不過不失。

Hmm there must have been a mix-up years ago since there appears to be two Google places attributed to the same Hometown Dumplings. Anyhow! I want to copy over my review and ratings over to this page since this place is hands down the best dumpling place in HK. They sell Shandong dumplings, unlike the Cantonese versions that some people might be acquainted with. People here uphold the standard of “皮薄餡靚” (thin skin and nice fillings), but you don’t get that with Home Town Dumpling. Instead, you get these rustic thick-skinned Northern dumplings that are the size of your palms, nestled in white starchy noodles, and served in a big warm bowl of soup that - I imagined - used to comfort and fill the stomachs of those poor wind-bitten Northerners back in the days. Jokes aside, It’s hands down the best dumpling place I’ve ever been. My personal favorite is the fish one. Don’t get weirded out by the idea of having fish in it - it’s fillings are more like a mixture of fish and pork. It gives an even better texture compared to its bok choy pork counterpart (Ie less dense), and it’s more flavorful. None of the cold dishes fail me either. I have yet to try it’s rice dishes but my friends told me they are decadent. Think clam chowder, shepherd pie, mac and cheese. It’s that level of comfort but better.
