This is your classic neighbourhood zi char spot! I have to agree that the white beehoon tastes fantastic and is very reasonably priced. The pork ribs are also beautifully marinated and absolutely delicious. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Typical neighborhood coffee shop stall that sells the usual Chinese restaurant cooking, at neighborhood prices. It is like Chinese restaurant in shopping malls, but without air-conditioning. The dishes were delicious and has 'wok-hei', something that you don't find often in Chinese restaurants, whether in shopping malls or in the neighborhood. Staff are polite and service is fast. Free sitting in the coffee shop.

Hong Kong Street Hua Seafood is one of those better zhi char stalls. As they have a high volume of customers, their food ingredients run out fast. The net result is their dishes tend to be fresher comparatively. I have ordered mainly their noodle dishes such as fried beef hor fun, yee mian, sheng mian, etc. So far, I am very satisfied with the taste, food quality and value I get for my money. Their lady servers are very efficient in that they never forget orders and can always locate you in the big Fu Fa coffeeshop no matter where you are seated. Do give them a try next time when you are in or near Hougang Green Shopping Mall.
