Waited about 30 minutes from 2pm and I ordered Kway Teow Mee soup ($4) thereafter. The fishballs have a great, firm texture, and the noodles have that authentic, old-school taste. Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 1–10

Always wanted to try the fishball noodles but there are always a queue, however made up my mind to join in the queue and at least try once. Tabao one large ($5) mee pok dry with chilli. The mee pok is not soggy nor too springy, the chilli spice up the taste. Lean pork is too dry and did not mixed well with the condiment. Fish cake slice is thick, fishball is crunchy and big and it is one of the fishball that has the taste of fish. It is definitely one comfort food for any time of the day.
