Had dinner at Hong Zhou Restaurant in Wan Chai and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated promptly in a cozy, inviting space that felt both traditional and comfortable — perfect for a relaxed evening meal. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The Dongpo pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the crispy duck was a standout — perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. We also ordered a few vegetable dishes that were fresh, vibrant, and cooked to perfection. But the real surprise came at the end: the desserts were phenomenal. The bean pancakes were delicate, fragrant, and the perfect way to end the meal. What really elevated the experience was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, happy to offer recommendations, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a great time. Given the quality of the food and service, we were pleasantly surprised that the prices were quite reasonable — definitely not as expensive as we had anticipated for such a high-caliber dining experience.
