中国語じゃないと予約が取れないらしいレストラン！月曜日のディナーで、20時以降の遅い時間に取れました。シンガポール中心地（ベイエリア）からGrabで6,000円くらいかかりました笑でも、それだけの価値はあるチリクラブ辛めのソースが本当に最高で、パンがいくらでも食べられる感じ〜サイドメニューのニラの炒め物？もめちゃくちゃ美味しくて、おかわりする勢い。お豆腐の蒸し物？も美味しかった

Hua Yu Wee Seafood Restaurant is one of those rare old school Singapore spots that still feels genuinely nostalgic without trying too hard. The moment you walk into the colonial style bungalow, it almost feels like stepping back into the 80s kampung seafood dining scene. Super spacious, breezy, and perfect for family dinners or big group gatherings. Don’t expect a super upscale or clean environment as it’s also considered a really old space and minimal upgrade has been done for the dining, toilets and kitchens. Both outdoor and indoor seating available. Their signature dishes definitely live up to the hype. The chilli crab has that rich, eggy gravy that goes so well with fried mantou, while the gong bao chicken is crispy, juicy, and dangerously addictive. Also liked the coffee pork ribs and lala. Portions are generous and prices feel more reasonable compared to many seafood restaurants around East Coast. The appetizer though is a let down - $6 for a small bowl of tomatoes and oranges soaked in sour plum sauce - do return this if you are not a fan of such a unique taste. What really makes this place memorable though is the ambience. Outdoor seating under the trees, old school service staff, and a very uniquely Singaporean atmosphere that is getting harder to find nowadays. Great place to bring parents, overseas friends, or anyone craving a proper nostalgic zi char experience. Just make sure to reserve beforehand because weekends get packed and crab dishes can take awhile during peak hours.  Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 40–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
