Quite authentic pho, was craving some after a recent Vietnam trip. The crispy spring rolls were SO good as well. One issue I had with the pho was i really wish there was the bounty of fresh vegetables that was in many bowls i had in vietnam. It would cut the meatiness and saltiness really well. However, all in all, was still a great dinner. The oxtail can be slightly too fatty though Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

This shop in Ubi had a short but slow-moving queue. There was a crowd inside waiting for takeaway orders, and we could only see the full menu after stepping inside the shop. We ordered the trio beef noodle soup, bun cha, Vietnamese milk coffee, and salt coffee. Everything is prepared upon order, and the cook checks in with each customer on their preferences which explains the slower-moving queue. (We appreciated this) The pho came with three different cuts of beef which were tender and the flavour of the soup was enhanced by the black pepper. Its a must to drizzle the Bun Cha with the special sauce available at the counter and mix everything well! The pork had a good balance of fatty and lean parts and went well with the springy noodles. Seating is quite limited, especially during peak periods. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

It’s rare to find such an authentic delicious viet staples with fresh ingredients in Singapore suburbs. The Team are also one of the few that serve with passion, enthusiasm and warm hospitality, always ready for the hungry customers like me.
