Got Hup Hup's delivery because they sell out very quickly! Laksa (S$4.30) - my favourite dish out of the lot because the laksa gravy is rich in flavour and not too diluted (with a nice balance, also not too much coconut milk), also very creamy and nice with the noodles! The noodle texture was also just nice and not soggy, the gravy was also slightly spicy. This came with tons of well-cooked cockles, tau pok (very tasty after soaking up the laksa gravy) and fish cake (plus beansprouts and a half hard-boiled egg). Probably one of the better laksas I've had in a while. Mee Siam (S$4.30) - not your conventional mee siam - instead of your usual mee siam soup (where the consistency is like water and the soup is more tangy/sourish), Hup Hup offers a richer (and more creamy) broth which is not sour, and was reminiscent of peanuts. The noodles were also topped with tons of fried mini shrimps (not typical for mee siam). Also came with tons of tau pok (still with a slight bite to it despite being soaked in the gravy), beansprouts, hard-boiled egg and their special bee hoon (just nice and not soggy). Would recommend this if you prefer a mee siam that's not sour (and not spicy). Lor Mee (S$4.30) - a tasty dish with nice, thick and starchy lor mee gravy (with egg bits). Came with a generous amount of ingredients - ngoh hiang, braised pork belly, beansprouts, fish cake and a half hard-boiled egg (which were all tasty with the gravy as well). The noodles were also nice (and with the gravy), but was stuck together after the delivery (since it is more starchy). Recommended as a non-spicy option. Their delivery option is very convenient to ensure that you can get their dishes before they sell out. The dishes arrived with no spillages and the soup was packed separately from the noodles. Consistently good food and friendly service! Everything we’ve tried so far has been tasty and satisfying. Great portions, great value, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
