Hygge is a wonderful addition to the Tai Kok Tsui dining scene, conveniently located near the HSBC building. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, creating a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for both casual meals and gatherings with friends. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout the visit, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was very well executed, with beautiful presentation and quality ingredients. The menu has a lovely Mediterranean-inspired vibe, featuring fresh flavors and thoughtfully prepared dishes. My only suggestion would be regarding the seasoning. The dishes were a little on the mild side for my taste. It would be great if the restaurant could provide salt and pepper on every table, allowing guests to adjust the seasoning according to their own preferences without affecting the chef’s original vision. Overall, Hygge offers excellent service, a pleasant ambiance, and well-crafted food. With just a small improvement in table seasoning options, it would easily become one of my favorite spots in the area. I would happily return.
