The only downside of this place is that they strictly accept orders at 12pm on the dot! I wish they opened earlier. Second time coming here and its still as good as i remembered! An honest bowl of chewy udon. Highlighting their broth packets on the side which you can buy and cook at home. Tempura perfectly fried, crunchy, not dripping with oil, and the oil they used is also fresh! If ur ever craving a simple hearty soup noodle dont hesitate to stop buy. Broth was light but hearty and tasty. Noodles were thinner than the usual udon but chewy nonetheless. Somewhat pricey for the amount of toppings but a decent bowl of udon. Had a tough time finding this place because the location pin was initially wrong. This place is in Isetan supermarket. Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The stall looks so unassuming, I almost passed. But I'm so glad I decided to give this a shot! The udon texture is this amazing balance of chewiness and softness. Think al dente written in italics. And the tempura prawns! It's already considered good when the tail can be eaten. But somehow, they managed to make it just as easy to crunch as the batter. Perfect spot for a quick bite; it's in the middle of the Isetan supermarket though, so you'll have people walking past all the time.
