I loved loved loved the cheesecake. I ordered 1 last week and Jess delivered the cake herself and she spent 15 minutes talking to me which was really nice of her. The flavour was definitely there. I had tried her butter cookies before and I immediately fell in love! Therefore, I wanted to give this cake a go because it is really difficult to find a newyork cheesecake here in Taiwan(shame). I could taste the cheese flavour and I knew exactly

Jess's Bakery just kicked off and I was lucky enough to have a taste of their first batch of goodies! I had the brownies and the madeleines, both of which were delicious. Coming to Taiwan, I rarely come across good brownies. I have been all over Taipei trying multitudes of local establishments, but most were unable to pull off brownies. Many local bakeries advertise offering "western" pastries, and majority of which are not what they advertise, being far from actual western pastries. I occasionally crave sweets that remind me of home to serve as a temporary cure of my homesickness. Jess's bakery was able to successfully satiate my sweet tooth and I have to admit, the brownies were on point, with nice fudginess! Unfortunately, I was only able to try 2 items they have to offer. I look forward to trying more of their goodies in the near future!
