My family and I ate at Ian's Table while on holiday in East Taiwan. The meal was beautiful, one of the best fillet steaks that I have tasted! Ian and Sabine are lovely to meet and chat to and their home (this is the "restaurant" you eat in) is great; calming, clean and comfortable. Both our hosts were respectful and we hope we showed equal respect as welcome visitors into their home too! A must go to place to eat when in Taiwan. One down side is that now we are at home in the UK, it would be a 12,000 mile round trip for a meal out!! Thanks Ian and Sabine for a great experience!

My girlfriend and I love to dine out. But eating at Ian's table was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. It all started with when we did the booking over the phone. Ian asked us if there was certain food we couldn't eat. We told him and he was so accommodating in meeting our food preferences. We arrived at 07:30 pm at Ian's house. We received a very warm welcome from his wife. The house is just beautiful, cosy and feels very homy. It felt like visiting good friends for a home cooked meal rather than going to a restaurant. Then there was the food: the 4 course meal was glorious! Ian explained each course which made us appreciate the food even more. I definitely recommend you to get one or two bottles of wine along with the food. Ian and his wife have a great selection of wines that go perfectly with the food. My girlfriend and I had two bottles and it was absolutely worth it! We will definitely come back and stay the night at Ian's house as well. They have two guest rooms in their beautiful house and serve breakfast as well. Overall, it was a perfect night out at Ian's and his wife's house. Thank you both for creating such a special memory for my girlfriend and me!
