This place was right next to our hotel. We got in later in the evening and were tired. Just wanted to grab something quick. Walked right by it and thought about McDonalds. The place look a little different was places in the US. There were local guys in there drinking and was loud. We went in anyways. Took us a little while to understand how to order. We picked a half and half where you get 2 different flavors. We really didn’t know what we ordered. Once it came out, it smelled good and was given 2 different side plates with different flavors to dip the chicken. That chicken was amazing. So far, I have only ate at 1 chicken place in Korea. I am telling you, it is the best fried chicken I have ever had. We have tried other Korean fried chicken in the US, but it is nothing like here. We ended up with a plain fried chicken and one with a sauce on it. The flavor of the sauce was very good, but it took away from the crispiness of the fried chicken. I loved the plain fried chicken and dip in a salt that they gave us. Whatever you do, if you are around this place, you have got to come and try it. It cost $22,000 Korean wons which is a little over $15 usd. Two thumbs up and the big toe. I rated the atmosphere as a 5, but in reality I would give it a 2 or 3. Just not used to seeing a bunch of guys drinking and eating fried chicken. They didn’t bother anyone. Just the first impression might scare some people off, but I gave it a 5 because the chicken was that good. Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chicken and beer!! This was our first dinner experience in Korea after 25hours of flying from Australia, and I'm so glad it was! I experienced kdrama vibes from the layout and the staff The chicken was so good! We ordered through an ipad on the table and it came so quickly! We were worried we were too late to eat but they we've very relaxed and in fact 2 other families came in after us There was so much we struggled to eat it all first maekchu experience!
