“Rainy day soul food, even without the rain.” At Ijumak in Hapjeong, the night begins with a clay cup of creamy makgeolli, and ends with you wondering how flavors can feel like poetry. Half green onion pancake, half kimchi pancake – a perfect duet, crisp and golden. And then there’s the dakbokkeumtang spicy, tender, and just enough heat to make the makgeolli taste even sweeter.
