Love coming here for Indo-Chinese food! The vibe is always fun, service is super fast, and the dishes hit the mark every time. We ordered soup starter fish and noodles all yummy as usual. Totally recommend if you want something tasty and filling. The place feels cozy, the staff is friendly and quick, and the food never disappoints. Great for when you’re craving something comforting with bold flavours! Price per person: $60–70

I’ve been coming to Indian Wok since 2008. It’s almost become like a tradition in my family. However, the food taste and quality has considerably decreased and I noticed this last year. And it’s been getting worse every time since then. There’s barely any flavour and it feels like I’m eating sink water when I eat the beancurd and mushroom gravy. No salt, no flavour. And the fried spinach has a very fishy smell. Not even the cooked fishy smell but the raw stench. And the prices have seemingly increased since and the quality has considerably decreased. The main reason we went to Indian wok two days ago was because of the 30% off (which they only send one day before the offer day on WhatsApp so we don’t even really get to plan in advance). The next day we realised that they hadn’t given us a discount. So we called them up to ask and they proceeded to tell us that it was our fault that we didn’t tell them about the discount and they can’t do anything now. We were very very disappointed because we’ve been coming here for YEARS and there’s no effort from their side to reward our loyalty or maintain customer relations. And we spent a lot too ($110) just on two people! And when we went in, there was this one table at the very back of the restaurant close to the door leading to the toilet and kitchen. I asked the waitress to move us because we don’t want to sit there. She said that the only option left is outside Indian Wok so we had to sit there. We were literally behind this huge group of people who were yelling and screaming loudly (we literally had to yell over the noise so we could hear hear each other) and there was barely any space to walk. The orders now having to be done completely online is also very disappointing. Firstly, we can’t make any customisation. Secondly, Indian Wok has always had a fine-dining and classy atmosphere. The waiters taking our order down and repeating it back to us is part of the experience. But now it’s just like any other casual, fast-food style dining place with the QR code ordering. I’m okay with such places. But I would come to Indian Wok for this fancy experience which is now no more. It’s like they market themselves as this fine-dining fancy place and charge us that way but give us an experience and service that’s worse than some fast-food restaurants. This restaurant is one of my favourites because of the memories but in recent years and with this last experience we had, we’ve been very disappointed and I had to write this review. I would love to see Indian Wok come around and be that restaurant it used to be that I had fallen in love with but now it’s just not it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $100+ Vegetarian options: Available but I believe there’s contamination from meat because of the smell and taste Dietary restrictions: Not sure
