The coffee was lovely, the space was beautifully designed, and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience because of another customer. While waiting for our drinks, we were looking around the different areas of the café to find somewhere to sit. When we entered one of the buildings, a customer sitting near the door snapped at us to close it properly. It turned out that the door was a sliding door, although we had mistaken it for an automatic one. We apologised politely and explained that we had not realised, but the person continued to glare at us and told us again, in quite a confrontational tone, to close the door properly. We were visiting from far away, and it put a bit of a dampener on the first day of our trip. Of course, I understand that the café cannot control every customer’s behaviour, but experiences like this can still affect the overall atmosphere of a place.
