This is the no. 1 best koobideh and basmati rice among the other two Persian restaurants in Patong. I won't reveal the name of the other two. Haha . Just trust it. Clean restaurant and kind staffs too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A Hidden Gem in Patong – Chef Ali Restaurant. If you're looking for one of the best halal restaurants in Patong, then Chef Ali Restaurant deserves a spot on your list. The highlight of our meal was definitely the special lamb, cooked to perfection. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with rich flavors. Every bite tasted fresh and full of authentic Middle Eastern spices. If you're a lamb lover, this place is a must-visit. But it's not just about the lamb—the menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, from grilled meats and kebabs to rice platters, curries, fresh salads, and refreshing drinks. There's something for everyone. What impressed us the most was the hospitality. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. They made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal and their service made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends after a long day exploring Phuket. To finish the meal, we were served fresh watermelon, which was the perfect refreshing ending. Service: 10/10. Staff Behavior: 10/10. Ambience: 9.5/10.
