Western‑style Local Bistro Picks Overall vibe: Well‑made food with thoughtful details and great for sharing with friends ️ --- Double‑Layer Cheese Mushroom Beef Burger ($108) Rating: (5/5) This burger is a real highlight. The seasoning on the patty is very well balanced, the meat is thick but still juicy, and it doesn’t dry out at all—every bite feels rich and satisfying. The staff are also very attentive; when they noticed we were sharing, they kindly cut the burger properly for us, which made eating it much easier and more enjoyable. Paired with thick cut fries (crispy outside, soft inside), the combo is spot‑on and definitely something I’d order again. --- Duck Breast & Porcini Mushroom Pasta ($118) Rating: (3.5/5) The pasta is cooked a bit firm, but for this stir‑fried style it works well and doesn’t feel soggy. The porcini mushrooms are generous and fragrant, adding a nice earthy depth to the dish. The duck breast is nicely done too—moist rather than dry—and goes well with the aromatic sauce. It’s not an absolute show‑stopper, but the flavour and texture are nicely balanced, making it a solid choice. --- Signature Pasta ($138) Rating: (4/5) What stands out here is that, even though it’s also a pasta dish, the texture is a bit softer and clearly designed to pair with the creamy sauce. The mouthfeel is smooth without being too heavy, and the overall balance is very pleasant. There are two shrimps in the bowl—portion‑wise it’s not huge, but they’re fresh and go well with the creamy base. The dish is a touch more refined than the duck version, with better integration between pasta, sauce, and seafood.
