ブギス駅から徒歩10分くらい。 サルタンモスクから程近いところにあるレストランです。 おすすめはチキンビリヤニ。 多めに見えるバスマティライスですが、非常に軽くてさっぱりしているのでいくらでも食べられそうです。 同じお皿に乗ってる2種類のカレーも美味しくて途中で味変ができるのも嬉しいです。 そこまで辛くはないので子どもでも普通に食べられました。 チキンビリヤニはバスマティライスの中に大きく切られた鶏肉がゴロゴロと入っています。 端っこに添えられているアチャールはきゅうり？を甘めの酢漬けにしたようなもの。 スパイシー感は特にありません。 ムルタバと呼ばれる薄く作ったお好み焼きをクレープのように畳んだものはボリューム満点です。 マトンムルタバは挽肉のマトンが入っていました。 一緒についてくるカレーソースをかけながら食べます。 ムルタバは一つが結構大きいので1人で食べると飽きてくるかも。今回は3人でビリヤニとムルタバをシェアしながら食べてお腹いっぱいになりました。. Mutton biryani was ok but portion quite small for $20. Roti Mariam was disappointing. Rest of items on the menu was not available, only briyani. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

We had dinner at Islamic Restaurant International Pte Ltd (near Sultan Mosque) on 12 Sept at about 6:30pm — and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. My wife’s mutton briyani was served with mostly bone and very little meat. After I complained, they did replace it, but the waiter’s attitude made it clear the feedback wasn’t welcome. I ordered the duck briyani at $25, but by the time food and service frustrations piled up, my appetite was gone. To make matters worse, we noticed other tables being served papadums right away. We had to ask before they finally brought some to us — only after another wait. For a bill of more than $50 (two briyanis and a tea), the overall value and experience were simply unacceptable. The rice was the only saving grace — warm, fluffy, and flavorful — but the rest of the meal was a letdown. The food quality has clearly declined compared to the past, and the service was unfriendly throughout. Only at the cashier did we see a half-hearted smile, far too late to redeem the experience. Final verdict: goodbye Islamic Restaurant International Pte Ltd. We’ll take our money to other places where customers are greeted, served, and treated with genuine care.
