My cousin Kelly suggested I try this place out as she found the service and food good. To appease her, all 5 of us had lunch there. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was good besides the food. We tried so many different dishes including almost all the specials offered. Everything was reasonably priced but I do wish they had some decent desserts though. It was so good, we went back several times in 3 weeks. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $60–70 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am a regular customer at Itacho Sushi ION Orchard, but after today’s experience, I am completely disgusted and extremely disappointed. The salad in my set meal was served with a ROTTEN cherry tomato. This is a serious food hygiene issue and should NEVER happen in a restaurant that claims to have proper quality control. Rotten food should not even be in the kitchen, let alone on a customer’s plate. When I informed the staff, Ng Joe Yee, there was ZERO apology. She took the dish away without any concern and acted like it was not a big deal. After a long wait, she brought a replacement salad. By then, I had already lost my appetite and told her I didn’t want it anymore. Instead of being apologetic, she gave me an unhappy face and angrily threw the new salad into the return basket with a loud noise right in front of me. That attitude was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Mistakes can happen, but the way your staff handled the situation was absolutely unacceptable. No apology, no sincerity, and no basic customer service. I was treated as if I was the problem for pointing out spoiled food. This kind of behaviour and food standard is shocking for a restaurant in ION Orchard. I used to enjoy dining here, but after this experience, I seriously question the hygiene and service standards of this outlet. I had log a complaint to SFA ! Management needs to seriously look into staff training and food quality control. Customers deserve fresh food and respectful service, not rotten ingredients and rude attitudes. The service was quick and efficient. Although there was a queue, table turnover was fast, so the waiting time was only around 15 minutes. I’ve visited a couple of times, and the food quality has consistently been high and worth the price. I wasn’t a fan of the Tamagoyaki from the promotional menu. However, I would recommend the lobster and mango salad roll. I do hope they bring back the long roll, as it’s currently only sold in two pieces. Price per person: $30–40
