Being the last night of this trip, I told myself I needed to get out and explore a little more before flying home. Stumbled upon Tom’s Cafe, a nicely decorated local restaurant just right beside my hotel, the ibis. What caught my attention? It was still alive and open at 11pm plus while most places were already winding down for the night. Perfect for late night wanderers like me. Ordered an iced coffee and a chicken fried rice. Simple supper but honestly quite satisfying. Coffee was refreshing, fried rice was good with decent portion, and the whole place had a relaxed local vibe instead of feeling overly touristy. What made the experience better was the staff. Friendly, smiling all the time, and genuinely welcoming even at that hour. Sometimes it’s these random unplanned supper spots that end up becoming one of the more memorable moments of a trip. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tom’s Cafe was such a great find. The food was genuinely excellent, we ordered spring rolls, pork fried rice, pad Thai and tom yam soup, and every dish was full of flavor and really well done. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy, the pork fried rice was rich and satisfying, and the pad Thai was easily my favorite. The service was warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d recommend and would happily come back to. “A very delicious meal at Tom's Café! The shrimp in dry curry with rice was perfectly flavored, and the fresh coconut was a delicious addition. The spring rolls were also excellent. The friendly atmosphere and friendly staff completed the experience. They really create a cozy atmosphere.
