I wanted to like this place better, but there were just too many issues. You can eat here by reservation only, which they want you to download an app to do, but it's only in Korean, despite this being an "American style" restaurant... So it really isn't meant to be American style, is it? You can also make a reservation by phone call, but only if one of the staff happens to speak English. Most of them don't. That's one problem. Second, the menu is mostly in Korean (which would be fine if this wasn't an "American style restaurant.") There are English subtitles for the menu, but the other issue is, there's no pictures for the food! So even if you can read Korean, you still have no idea what you're actually getting until you see it. Third, the food just wasn't that good. I ordered the Mac and Cheese, but it tasted kinda bland. It's the cheese they use. I didn't like it much. I also ordered dessert, but they wouldn't make it until after I finished the main dish, even though I stated I wanted both at the same time. They only have two dessert items anyway, the creme brulee. Fourth, everything in the restaurant is kind of expensive. 4,000 won just for toast. Seriously. Two pieces of regular toast: About $3.00 US. Oh, and last: They don't offer any takeout boxes. This is ESPECIALLY bad for an American restaurant, as we do that all the time. Even most Korean restaurants give you a takeout box for when you can't finish it all right there. Luckily, I had a way to take my leftovers home anyway. At least there was no gratuity obligation; that's easily the worst part about American restaurants. I really wanted to try this place for a while since I don't live far from here, but after thinking about it for a few hours, I really didn't like it here, am feeling disappointed, and I believe they made too many mistakes, especially having paid about 30,000 total just for my meal of Mac and Cheese, creme brulee, and bread. I want them to improve and get better though, by offering better menus with bilingual print and pictures, in-person reservations or limited hours during the day where you can walk-in without a reservation, better food (at least for the bland Mac and Cheese,) and actually offer takeout boxes for leftovers (especially for the high prices here.)
