Excellent experience for our large group gathering. The reservation process was smooth, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and highly organized. They managed our group’s needs efficiently and provided outstanding service throughout. Highly recommended for group events and celebrations. Absolutely terrible food and service. Now don't get me wrong, I came in with 0-to-negative expectations hoping to eat something that was at least serviceable in quality given that I was fully aware of the poor quality of ingredients JP sources, but alas my expectations was still too high. Let's start off with the food. The size of the steak which was part of the set meal was comparable to the size of the egg (see pic) but yet still thinner. The steak was also way overcooked. I had ordered "rare" and got served not just "well done" but "congratulations". The cross-section had 0 pinkness at all and the texturet like gandhi's flipflop—absolute rubber. There is also close to no seasoning. Truly disgraceful. Furthermore, the carrots and brocolli were still semi raw and hard—more suitable for rabbits not humans. Baked potato (which was a $2.50 upgrade from the usual carbs) also had no seasoning; the saltiness only came from the artificial bacon bits. Even the scoop of cookies&cream ice cream at the end tasted grainy and the cookie-to-dairy flavour was off. The only serviceable thing in the whole set was the fried egg. But that was not even the worst part. After I had sent the rubbery "congratulations" steak back and told them that I had ordered it rare, what came back was a piece of meat that could still be brought back to life with a few CPR pumps—completely raw. There was only the ever so SLIGHTEST sear on the external surfaces of the meat (it was completely grey outside and COLD inside), but even one look at it without cutting and you'd know it was still raw inside. I then signalled this to the young female waiter told her that the steak was raw and not rare as I had wanted it. But she replied that yes, this is rare. I then tried for another 2-3x to tell her that the words "rare" DOES NOT MEAN "raw", but it seems like she couldn't register what the difference was. At the end, I just told her to cook it a little longer. If she had continue to insist that "raw" and "rare" are the same, I think I would have just gone inside the kitchen and place the steak on the plancha myself. Initially the end, she took the steak back in the kitchen and told the cook to cook it a little more. The final version 3 (yes, this was now the third time being served steak) was at last edible (rare-to-medium rare), but still with 0 seasoning. To the JP management team, please educate your staff and cooks on the different types of doneness. "Rare" is a doneness, meaning that the steak is actually warmed up on the inside and there's still a proper sear on the outside, while "Raw" means that the inside doesn't even get cooked and is simply cold. Also, please increase the size of your steak and use salt when you're cooking—the 2 steaks I got were thin, small, and had barely any flavour. Just atrocious throughout. Oh and the young staffs were just answering phone calls and chit chatting in the restaurant like no ones business. Only the aunties seemed semi professional. I had originally come to JP hoping to have a simple utility lunch not expecting any wow factor whatsoever, just something that was serviceable. And yet, I was utterly disappointed at how terrible it has become. If I was part of the JP management team, I'd feel so ashamed to be serving this type of food and providing this kind of service to paying customers. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1

Yesterday we had dinner at Jack's Place Bras Basah Complex.
most disappointed i had ever.
We ordered Mixed Grill and Rib Eye as well as Erdinger Beer which was advertised as free with the order of Main Course ala carte
between 5-8pm until 31 August.
However Server asked us Tiger Beer White Or Black.?
so i asked why we gotta choose Tiger .He reply as feedback are not good for Edinger . it has already discon and now only Tiger.
Alright then so we just take tiger then.
So when food are served . it found to be really chewy as all r over cook except chicken.
So the issue came in when pay for bill the beer was charged.
So i asked it shupport to be free right?
they mention no it is already discon and not FOC.
i am really disappointed where advertised in phamphlet which was given to us.
